Important update regarding the OHJA Baby Green Division. Based on member feedback we have reverted to original height restrictions in 2024. The updated specifications are as follows:
The Baby Green Hunter division is open to horses that have not competed in an EC sanctioned Gold or Silver competition (or equivalent) in any class requiring the entry to jump 2’9” prior to January 1st of the current year. To maintain their Baby Green Status, horses may not compete in any division in which the jumps exceed 2’9”. Jogging is not required. Fences to be set at 2'9''.
The intention of this division is to provide a Hunter Division for green, young horses starting their showing career as they prepare for the National Green Hunter Divisions.
The Children's Pony division is a combined pony division open to all ponies ridden by a junior. Lines will be set on a 12’ stride. No in and out. Fence height will be 3" lower than the core division height; Small Ponies to jump 2’0”, Medium Ponies to jump 2’3” and Large Ponies to jump 2’6”. Judged on quality, movement, jumping style, manners, and way of going. The division does not affect Green Pony status. Ponies and riders may cross enter into any other division they may be eligible for.
